Dogs, cats and exotics

Exotic pets are cheap to buy and complicated to keep. We see them with the same care as the dog on the next table, and we’ll tell you straight what they need.

  • Exotics are seen by select doctors: call to confirm before you book.
  • We’re no longer taking new bird patients.

Owned by a vet, not a corporation

Dr. Ken Fletcher has owned Albany Animal Hospital since 1996. In 2004 the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association gave him its Animal Welfare Award for treating and rehoming more than 600 strays. Dr. Payton Hunt and Dr. J joined him in 2025.
